Quora User Breaks Down Size Of The Universe

Perhaps the most mind blowing fact about the size of the universe is that the universe doesn't have one size, instead it's just that the universe is literal size. It's also wild to think about the fact that we can see the light from a galaxy that existed long before homo sapiens did. Taking a minute to step outside the mental carousel of juggling our daily obligations and life problems, and to stare up at space to appreciate the beautiful insignificance of it all in the grand expanse of the universe, can work wonders for keeping the ego in check.

Tumblr Thread: Fastest Manmade Object Went Full Send

Tumblr did some research on the fastest manmade object. By the sound of it this manhole cover was launched into space with such monstrous force that it could've punched a hole through a planet. Maybe the aliens will touch base some day in the future, and ask us why we went and did something like that.

The fact that this flat earther believes they've disproved gravity in the matter of 3 minutes has us deeply concerned. This is just getting flat out ridiculous.

Astronomers Discover Something Buried Under The Moon, "Destiny" Fans Got Jokes

A recent study published online revealed that something is chilling about 186 miles beneath the surface of the Moon. The Twitter account for the "Destiny" video game had a point to make when CNN tweeted about it, and the thread that ensued was full of gems.

Do we think this could be the start of something far more extraterrestrial than we ever thought possible? We should just leave that shit on the moon buried and alone.

After a Long and Fruitful Life, the Mars Rover "Opportunity" Is Dead

Science writer Jacob Margolis chronicled the end for the proud little rover. The last thing they heard from the rover was "My battery is low and it's getting dark." That is some Hollywood level drama, man. Well, it did a great job anyway, and lasted for waaaaaaay longer than we expected. Good rover.
