Michael Sam made waves the other year when he was drafted by the St. Louis Rams as the first openly gay NFL player. Today, amid talks that the supreme court will take a closer look at the constitutional grounds for gay marriage, Sam posted this photo on Instagram proposing to his long-time boyfriend Vito Cammisano.
Jon Ryan's teammate Steven Hauschka went ahead and decided to sign on with the Buffalo Bills, and let me tell you right now as a Seattle Seahawks fan, this is straight devastating. At least Ryan pulled through with a comedic farewell, and naturally the Twitter reactions to said tweet only served to contribute to the bittersweet joke.
