Which is a more utile tool? A hot glue gun, or duct tape? I'll let you be the judge.
Setting aside the obvious explanation that the power cord is attached to something on the other side or below the wall, maybe the wall itself is electrically operated, and it needs to plug into itself to run. Woah. I just got goosebumps.
