If things like ‘cleanliness’ and ‘mutual independence’ are important to you, don't be like the Gen X couple in our next story who got stuck being a runaway 18-year-old's new mommy and daddy.

Old buildings have terrible water pipes. No matter where you live or how swanky your neighborhood may be, if it's old, you're doomed to icy/hot showers that fluctuate based on which toilet is being flushed and which sink is running. For many people, this is just a mere inconvenience, but for others, who have snarky family members visiting, these old pipes turn into a weaponized warfare device that can only be wielded by the resident.

When you're good at your job, your boss will inevitably ask you to do MORE tasks outside of your job description. Naturally, that never comes with a raise or recognition of any kind, so most employees wrinkle their nose at the prospects of overachieving. In this case, a hardworking manual labor worker was asked to do menial tasks that were so far out of his job description, that he decided to take action to ensure that he would never be asked again.

This worker came with receipts. Usually, these types of things are a “he said, she said” type of scenario, where both sides state their perspectives, and the truth lies somewhere in between.

“I had a major fight with my wife,” one guy admitted in a post asking if he was the a******, writing “I almost feel like I'm the one [who is] crazy.”

Judge internet presides.
