11 Former Disney Park Employees Dish Out Their Darkest-Humored NSFW Stories

These hilarious, vaguely gruesome accounts make me want to see a revised 'honest trailer' for what you're actually signing up for being around, next time you up and head to a Disney Park. Also. Maybe it's just the landscape of modern day television, but I've noticed a lot of the darker, thriller tv shows I've binged on Netflix feature particularly unsettling, climactic scenes/unnerving discoveries occurring within the absurd neon-lit confines of amusement parks. It's like the writers got it in their heads the best way to spotlight rule-breaking, deviant behavior is to contrast the tendencies with kids' laughter, echoes of amusement park rides, etc.

When a movie is played around the world, most people only think about the difference in terms of dialogue. Is it dubbed or subtitled is usually a go to question, and then people claim they don't like either. Who wants to read movies anyway?

But Pixar always goes the extra mile, and instead of just leaving their audio team to dub in different languages, animators actually make changes to the films to make them more relatable to international audiences. They're overachievers.

Some of those differences are laid out in this video from the Oh My Disney YouTube channel. Check it out.

This Weird Beauty and the Beast Barbie Looks More Like Justin Bieber Than Emma Watson

Play time’s over.

In conjunction with the upcoming live-action Beauty and the Beast movie, a new Belle doll has it the shelves, and it’s leaving people scratching their heads. It’s designed to look like Emma Watson, who plays Belle, but this doesn’t look like Emma Watson. Honestly, it just looks weird and off putting. Seeing it is a strange experience.

Twitter is blowing up trying to figure what this weird little plastic humanoid looks like. Check out some of the best responses.

Disney Animation has been a cornerstone of culture for almost a century now, and it’s amazing how well this stuff still holds up. People still go to Disney World, buy Cinderella merchandise, and see remakes of these stories.

What better way to appreciate how far this animation has come — or hasn’t — than by enjoying a supercut featureing all of Disney's feature-length animated movies. From Snow White to Zootopia, “The Evolution of Disney Animation (1937-2016)" highlights the movements and trends in Disney, when it works and when it doesn’t. There are some forgotten movies and some stone cold classics, but you’ll be floored by how good and innovative the early animation still looks. However, If you feel a slight dip in the 80s and late-90s, sit tight, the goods are on their way.
