Republicans

#GOPDnD recently popped up as a new trending Twitter hashtag that entertains the idea of how Republicans would go about handling a game of Dungeons & Dragons. Spoiler Alert: the hashtag does nothing if not make it seem like they'd be terrible to play with. And queue up the inevitable rage-riddled, politically-fueled shitstorm...

Let's put "Don't Get Sick" on the dollar bill because it's about to become the national motto.

Now, no one really thinks Obamacare's perfect, even the people benefitting from it the most. So when Trump and the GOP campaigned on making this thing better, promising better coverage and lower prices, people took them at their word.

Why? Who knows. Anyone could've predicted what would happen: Higher prices for the sick, elderly, and poor; tax cuts for the rich. So you'll never believe it, but that's exactly what happened.

Paul Ryan's wet dream is out, and, surprise, it's great for the rich and awful for everyone else. But don't take my word for it. John Oliver tore this thing a new one on Last Week Tonight, breaking down just how bad this will be for just about everyone except a couple millionaires.

So enjoy a laugh at the health coverage we're all about to lose.

Everyone wants to go with CPAC, the Conservative Political Action Conference. It's a chance to check in with conservative poltics, as well as see famed white supremacist and White House chief strategist, finally get to spew whatever hate he's feeling that day.

But if you don't have a bowtie or a Nazi haircut, this is your chance to see what it's all about. And, hey, you'll have a few laughs along the way.

That Obamacare replacement really isn't going that well. In addition to making people pay more for less coverage and lying to the public for years, Republicans spent most of a decade complaining about something they never really had any intention of fixing.

But at least there's this, one of the replacement plans is called the "World's Greatest Healthcare Plan of 2017," which they had to have stolen from a "World's Greatest Dad" mug or something.

Now you're probably wondering, how is this real? What the hell is going on? But this is just one of the possible bills that the GOP might use and rename the American Health Care Act.

This is a very real thing that you can read more about here.

In case you haven't heard, last night, the GOP unveiled their long-awaited replacement plan for Obamacare. To no one's surprise, it's filled with policy that will not only leave million uninsured and penalized heavily for not having insurance, but also give lots nice tax credits for the rich! These guys are nothing if not predictable.

For the most part, it seems a lot like a plan that was slapped together in a hurry (because it was), becoming something og shittier version of Obamacare, offering similar ideas but for more money and less coverage. Even some House Republicans are calling this thing "Obamacare 2.0."

One thing it did help, however, was the internet, which got 10 CCs of memes comparing the Affordable Care Act with its whack-ass knockoff, the GOP replace aka The American Health Care Reform Act.
