... when he was 15...

Not only that, the engineering prodigy from Sierra Leone once built a battery out of scrap metal, baking soda and acid to power his family's house. Yep, he is a kludge god in the purest sense of the term. Uproxx called him a teenage Tony Stark, and we'd be inclined to agree. I'd also like to add this request:

Get. This. Kid. A. Scholarship. MIT, Cal-Tech, Harvey Mudd, Olin, anywhere. Step up!

Yes, you read that right. Torchy's Tacos, a taco joint in Austin, TX, has created a giant taco-shooting cannon which uses pressurized CO2 to shoot tacos at hungry customers. It has enough barrels to simultaneously shoot 12 tacos at once. Torchy's created the cannon for the annual Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin. Because with something like this, it's worth repeating three times (or 12 times, for that matter!). Watch the cannon in action here!

Does your dinner get cold while you make your tea? Do you have trouble timing when to set your kettle on while making dinner? FRET NO MORE! Now you can cook your food AND make your tea!

I mean I imagine that's how this obviously MADE FOR TV invention would be marketed.

Halloween is here already, but if you want to get an early start on next year's festivities, here's where the bar is set. Judging by this guy's costume, it's set pretty high (14 feet high, to be precise!).
