The best part is how they even went to the trouble of slapping on a logo and including a fake receipt. Scamming is one thing, but this is just cruel.
Sue Stenhouse was, until recently, a public servant in charge of Senior Enrichment in Cranston, Rhode Island. When a program began for teens to shovel snow for elderly folks she decided to celebrate the arrangement in a press conference. Apparently, she thought it needed more diversity. Rather than ask an actual elderly woman to stop by and be part of the assembly, she asked a middle-aged, male bus driver to do some character acting.
No one can seem to pry out a reason from her for the deception but she has since resigned. Disappointingly, it seems like no one has tried to interview the bus driver either.
An intrepid Louisville, Kentucky delivery driver delivered his pizzas in spite of the fact that he was carjacked and stabbed in the back. Coincidentally, and luckily for him, his destination was the emergency room of a local hospital. He managed to bring the pizzas into the building to make the delivery before collapsing from his wound. According to local news station WKLY, he is in stable condition and recovering well.
