MentalFloss reports that this real-life Optimus Prime Transformer was created by a Turkish company named Letvision. This beast is dubbed Letrons, and you've gotta think that happened cause of some folks over at the Transformers franchise.

Italian designer Riccardo Sabatini scanned hundreds of mechanical manuals and schematics, gathering pieces that he could use to create Mekkanika, a typeface tribute to the Transformers franchise. The amount of detail in each of these letters is amazing, Sabatini perhaps gets the hyper-articulated feel of Michael Bay's Transformers better than Michael Bay himself could.
