For your Christmas pleasure: A Christmas story from Darren Hayes, half of the music duo Savage Garden.
Oh that? I just have something in my eye, don't worry about it. Honest!
The Golden Age of Nostalgia that was the 1990s saw some of the most radical toys ever invented. Some were entertaining for about 20 minutes, others provided hundreds and hundreds of hours of joy. Whether they found themselves in the storage bin on day two, or are still proudly on display in our homes, each toy brings a warm twinge of nostalgia to our hearts.

Oh, sorry, I was just tryping out the theme from the classic Nicktoon Doug. Remember Doug? It was that show about a boring middle schooler, which was somehow really compelling.
Well, one of the thigns that gave that show its charms was the sound effects. From the scatty theme song to all those nasally characters, Doug was just as well known for it's sound as its look.
Great Big Story sat down with the man behind it all. Fred Newman is a voice over artist who mde all those sounds with his mouth. He asl odid voices for Harry and the Hndersons, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, and, everybody's favorite movie, Gremlins.
So if you ever watched Doug and wanted to know how all those sounds were made, this is the video for you.
