Don't feel like getting vaporized by an M80 during your fireworks celebration? Fear not! The fine folks at Grathio Labs have devised a way to make fireworks that add just a bit of extra pop to your celebration. Follow the instructions in the video, extrapolate, and make something cool like a chain of them! Just don't be dumb and do it indoors/in your hand/without eye protection/near flammable material. You can kludge with one hand or one eye, but it definitely doesn't make things easier...

I would make puns about this pool being hot and all, but they probably wouldn't go over too well. It'd be wheel embarrowsing.

Instructables user PDRWLSN created this pocket-sized flame thrower not because it's freaking awesome, but to as a way to start a quick fire when you're camping and only have access to wet wood. The gun uses materials readily available at any hardware store with butane lighter fluid as a fuel source and a BBQ ignition switch as a trigger. Below is a video showing the machine failing to melt snow. If any of you are crazy enough to try this, please, be safe.

"Spotted in a parking lot of the Goodwill store. The driver who walked up a minute after I took the photo had coarse hair that looked like it had been coated in a cracked burned substance. Either fire or aerosol spray foam seems to be a repeating theme."

Hey, don't judge now! Ladies love dudes with minivans that have had close encounters with volcanoes... right?
