Hear that? That's the sound of people around the world scooping burnt cheese out of their toaster after attempting this.

For when you're in the kitchen but want to feel like you're in the garage.

Scott DeSimon, writer at http://www.bonappetit.com/ stumbled across a quick and fun way to make a large quantity of corn on the cob. Get a large cooler, throw in the corn and add a couple quarts of boiling water... that's it. 30 minutes later the corn was cooked perfectly and ready to eat.

I can't be the only one that has never hear of this. Have any of you tried this? Any other easy kitchen hacks you think a lot of people don't know about?

Last Thanksgiving we showed you how to cook a turkey using thermite. Now that summer is here (and somehow already coming to an end), it's time for something more BBQ-friendly. DIYer Ben Krasnow gathers his family and friends together for some nice beef kebabs. I'm not entirely sure about sticking glove-less hands near molten iron or ingesting something that's been touching said lava.

I should have given the dough to the guy with the... meat grinder? clay flattener? at the laundromat!
