From the submitter:
"My beloved wooden coat rack has stalwartly held my coats and hats aloft for ten years, but of late, its wooden legs have been failing. I tried gluing the cracked leg brackets back together (the whole thing is intended to be easily taken apart for easy storage so the legs used to slide out of their bases), but after a few months, the glue also failed. In desperation, I turned to the handyman's secret weapon, duct tape, and did this! Here's hoping it survives a while longer. I looked for a new coat rack, but none of the stores in my area sell them."
