While I appreciate the skill displayed in the other booklamps produced, I feel they lack a certain kludge factor. I think I've achieved that here. Plus, no books were harmed in the making of this lamp!

I was able to build this lamp for under $20 (US) The books cost $6, The Switch and fixture cost $7.50, and a few misc. items that was another $4.
