I had a newborn calf break a leg after getting hung up in a ravine. The vet told me how to splint the leg with PVC pipe and duct tape.
This little guy had a life-threatening illness and needed his leg amputated. Luckily, the doctors at Washington State University's veterinarian school came up with a plan that even a 12-year-old tortoise's HMO covered.
Little do they know, tunnels are much more effective when they are a) underground and b) not transparent. Good first attempt, kitties, but better luck next time.
