Internet Has Field Day With Ridiculously Bizarre Christiano Ronaldo Sculpture

I don't know how this atrocity came into existence, but one of the world's most notoriously handsome soccer players, Cristiano Ronaldo was bestowed one profoundly unsettling sculpture that's supposed to be him. Dude based off the following hilarious comparisons alone, I think it's fair to say the mark was missed, overshot, etc.

If you're ever giving a public thank you, make it easy on yourself and thank two people: God and your mother.

Otherwise, you can end up like Anas Mohammed, a Ghanaian pro soccer player, and thank one too many. After winning "Man of the Match" in a game last week, Anas said the following in a post-game interview:

"Thank you for this, I appreciate my fans. My wife and girlfriend...I mean my wife, sorry to say."

"My wife, sorry to say" is, handsdown, the funniest way to introduce your wife. But even better than that is his follow up.

But he didn't stop there. After blowing that right out of the water, Anas double -downed on the weirdness of this interview by saying, ""My family knows that I call my daughter my girlfriend. That's what I was talking about. I don't have a girlfriend."

Anas! Stop. Giving. Interviews.

I know that you really want to thank your sidepiece, but you also don't have to cover it up by saying you were talking about your daughter. It's not a good look.

For all it's low-scoring, distance-running patience, soccer can be a pretty violent, godless sport. While it might seem like all orange slices and shin guards, it's really a boiling pot just waiting to spill over.

Sunday's game between Gama and Brasiliense was definitely in the latter category. Watch these fans storm the field during the game, cause mayhem, and do this to one poor bastard:

Red card!

Soccer is serious business, especially at the high school level, and especially when dads are involved.

Speaking of which, this video of two dads going at it at soccer match in Gran Canaria, Spain. This isn’t your typical soccer dad fight, though. This is a no-punches-pulled, closed fist fight, where one dad has his world rocked. It was two fathers of players on opposing teams, so you know this had to be worth teaching your kids such a valuable lesson about sportsmanship.

That must’ve been a fun a ride home. Well, at least for the one that didn’t end up in the hospital.

Dads.
