The shower yet again proves itself as an incubator of solid, wizened sentiments that make for kickass advice; cause let's face it: Figuring out how to navigate the modern day dating realm is an endless struggle. Seriously, we could use an instruction manual. In the meanwhile though, I guess compiling as many of these dating-themed shower thoughts will have to suffice. 

Did last night get away from you sometime between that fifth shot of silver Jose Cuervo and the pitcher of Long Island Iced Tea you mindlessly took upon yourself to drink with dangerous aggression? You wake up today feeling / looking like someone pulled you from out a street gutter? Well, leave the past in the past and carpe that diem with these thought-stirring sentiments that could only have been realized within the confines of a shower. 

Some people have very different showers that I do. When I'm in there, with the water rushing over me i do everything I can to turn my damn brain off and not think of anything. I fail to see how some of these strokes of genius come out in the way they do but, alas, here they are. 

It's true: a shower is an incubator of wisdom. At some point we wash off the thin film of accumulated worries -- rational and completely outside our control -- and become these temporarily clean slates, with room to entertain original, creative ideas otherwise drowned out to the point of forgetting they were even there. Pro Tip: make it a beer shower, bro. Gotta wash all those deep thoughts and existential angst and shit down with that dear old friend named ABV 5.7%.
