One of the world's most expensive meals ever (accidentally) signed off on. A man who has chosen to remain anonymous for suspected motivations to retain some dignity, accidentally rang up a $1.3 million dollar meal at Inverurie's Rajpoot Indian Restaurant in Scotland. Before that fat tip, the guy's meal, which included three entrees and drinks came out to be less than $100.

The Evening Express reports that restaurant owner, Abdul Wahid said: "When he came to pay I gave him the card machine and he asked to put in the amount himself but it didn't go through.

"I then had to phone the bank for him and I answered all of the questions and they then gave me the confirmation code.

"At this time he still had the card machine so I never saw the amount he had typed in.

"But 10 minutes later I took the machine and looked at it and I just said 'oh my god what's happened, what have you done my friend'. I looked at the receipt and then he looked at it and he just said 'oh my …'

"He then rang his bank up to say it was the wrong amount and cancel it before paying the correct amount."

"This has to be one of the most expensive meals there has ever been. I have never experienced anything like this. It was really, really shocking,” said Wahid. “I still can’t believe it.”

A server in a Texas restaurant received a hot "tip" from this newlywed and decided to leave a message for her on Facebook. When posting this image, which has since been deleted, she explained the circumstances of the tip. After a normal dinner serving a table of four, two couples, that seemed to be enjoying their time she offered up her very last pen so they could sign their checks and this is what she got in return. She nicknamed the wife who left the tip "Jenny". She concluded her post with this open message to her.

So, Dear Jenny,
I would like you to know, the server that was in the section across from mine, that I kept talking to and checking on throughout the time of you sitting at my table IS MY HUSBAND. Which I found on my own, and looks better than yours. Also, I would like you to know that I'm sorry MY HUSBAND treated me to a cruise for my honeymoon and not a restaurant. As well as, MY HUSBAND would never let me feel so insecure that I would feel the need to write such a terrible note to a server and make them feel the way you have.
So Jenny, here's a life tip for you from me, your insecurity as a woman is heartbreaking. Have pride in yourself and your relationship with YOUR husband to where you don't need to put another down to bring yourself up. Especially a server who lives off her tips and needs them to help her husband pay bills. Also, Jenny, I hope you like the pen, because it's my present to you. One NEWLYWED to another.

P.S - my husband said you can sit in his section next time that way you won't have to be so worried about your husband "flirting" with a server :). Maybe you'll see his ring a little better than you saw mine.

Signed, Jessica
The woman you offended by thinking so lowly of, that I would attempt to flirt with a man who is with his wife.

That must have been some pretty tasty gumbo.

A man in Washington, D.C. was so satisfied with his meal at Blue 44 on Monday, that he decided to tip the staff $2000 on top of his $93 bill.

He wrote a note at the bottom of the receipt clarifying that the amount was to be split between three people: $1000 for chef James Turner, and $500 each for the owner Christofer Nardelli and bartender Laura Dally.

His meal consisted of fried chicken, gumbo and some Old Chub Scotch Ale, according to theWashington Post.

And the anonymous patron told Nardelli that he did it because he is “very happy with what we’ve built and that he’s proud to be a customer.”

The restaurant posted a picture of the gumbo on Facebook Thursday, hoping to bring in some new customers thanks to all the publicity.

“The now famous Generosity Gumbo!” they wrote. “Chicken and Andouille sausage gumbo is still on special, so stop by and try a bowl of your own!”
