Horrifying MLB Glitch Ends Up Creating Nightmare Fuel, Leaves People Traumatized

Since when did horrific demons flood the fields of MLB video games? Whatever it takes to keep baseball interesting, I guess. I'll be the first to say that we should keep the game glitches within the humorous spectrum. Could do without the nightmare juice here.

If you're like me, then Don Mattingly is best known as that player who refused to shave his sideburns on that episode of The Simpsons. If you're not like me, you know him as one of the best ballplayers of all time.

During his 12 year run in the majors, he won nine Golden Gloves, was an American League batting champion and RBI leader. He was pretty great. Now, well, he's doing one better. He's getting a cinder block smashed on his chest as the manager for the Miami Marlins. Oh, hell yeah.

So, that just goes to show you, if you count Donnie out, he's going to do something really, really cool.

Yeah, she actually answers, and real talk: it's a buzzkill for us all. Turns out Verlander's too focused before the game, and too exhausted after the game.

Bro, have you not read the historical war tales of pre-battle glory that involved many a shield and sword-brandishing soldier sticking their 'other swords' into whatever woman would have them, as a ritualistic mind-clearing pick-me-up? And you're with Kate Upton! Madness.

There's nothing better than a good baseball prank, especially when that no-good rapscallion and Hall of Famer Greg Maddux is involved.

This century's Dennis the Menace dressed up as a sound guy to trick Chicago Cub Kris Bryant. Man, this is the oldest one in the book, and Bryant fell for it.

Props to you, Greg Maddux, and another one of your home run goofs.

Brewers Pitcher Matt Garza went and lobbed a supremely controversial mansplanation when he aimed to explain to actress Jessica Chastain on Twitter, what his opinion of birth control was.
