Valarie Watt's son, Noah, was stillborn last year. Recently, Gerald Kumpula and his wife picked up the unused crib at Watt's garage sale and Watt mentioned her son had passed; Kumpula transformed the crib into a a memorial bench.

Talk about giving back to those who have given you so much! Mother's Day is just around the corner, but I suppose he just couldn't wait.

Massachusetts-based graphic artist David LaFerriere has kept up quite a family tradition: he's drawn a unique doodle on his sons' lunch sandwich bags every day since May 2008. He's photographed over 1,100 of them, which are available on his Flickr account.

Robyn Rosenberger is the founder of tinysuperheroes.com. To date, she has stitched together over 300 capes and sent them to kids across the country who are battling disabilities and serious illnesses. Each unique cape reflects these kids' heroic attitude, going through so much so early on in life and still wearing a big smile at the end of the day.
