Do you enjoy, but are already slightly sick of, the "some bunny that I used to know" puns on the internet? Then you'll LOVE this.

Gotye Creates Mashup of Parodies of His Own Song.

Gotye's hit of the summer spawned so many YouTube parodies that he assembled literally hundreds of them to create a definitive "YouTube Orchestra" mashup. We'll let him speak for himself:

Reluctant as I am to add to the mountain of interpretations of Somebody That I Used To Know seemingly taking over their own area of the internet, I couldn't resist the massive remixability that such a large, varied yet connected bundle of source material offered.

Because as bad as the heartbreak of a relationship turned sour is in Gotye's original song, it's nothing compared to the suffering of a die-hard Star Wars fan.

The Gotye Parody to Literally End All Gotye Parodies

This Gotye parody might finally be the Gotye parody to put all other Gotye parodies to rest (please?). Comedian Eric Schwartz wrote this version of "Somebody That I Used to Know" as meta-homage to his once-favorite single, now bludgeoned to death by covers, parodies, and endless radio replays.

Watch out for the shout-outs to prior versions, including the Star Wars parody, the five-people-playing-one-guitar cover, and a Jewish rendition.

It's a sentiment everyone shares, but by making this version, aren't you just becoming part of the problem?

The Gotye Cover to End All Gotye Covers

The internet has been inundated by Gotye covers ever since "Somebody That I Used to Know" came out. Everything from five people on one guitar to a parody of five people on one guitar has been used, and now we finally have the "one person plays five parts on one guitar" the world has (probably) been waiting for.
