What better praise can there be for a tribute band than to have your band's inspiration come to one of your shows? Former PBS show host Bill Nye swung by a performance of Colorado band Bill Nye and the Science Guys. He danced, sang, and did everything but explain the greenhouse effect.

Students in a science lab at Imperial College, London, use lab equipment to cover the White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army." They adjusted some of the raw sound in production and added some string instrumentals, but otherwise it's just a group of dudes making music out of machinery and tubing.

Time for your Adorable Singing/Playing Youngster of the Day! This one gamely sings Tom Lehrer's song about the Periodic Table of the Elements. She misses a few, but damn if this isn't a chemist in the making.

Just don't sing for him that song about misidentifying flying machines in the nighttime sky as shooting stars. Galileo HATES it when you do astronomy wrong.
