The group Walk Off the Earth performs the song "Somebody That I Used to Know," originally by the Australian singer-songwriter Gotye. The catch? They all play on different parts of the same guitar.

It'd be easy to dismiss the five-musicians-one-guitar schtick as a gimmick, but the group actually creates a beautifully-executed rendition of the song in its own right, perfect for listening if you're celebrating Single's Awareness Day today.

He could have won accolades based solely on the Star Wars reference and lame puns about guitarbonite, but Travis Stevens carried through and crafted a polished-looking guitar mod shaped like Han Solo's carbonite prison. Would Solo mind that you're fingering his genital area even if he's trapped in hibernation?

Oh, and the current owner of that guitar is Tom Moody, the co-founder of Evanescence. So there's that.

In all fairness, punk can't really compete based on the guitar parts alone. You have to have at LEAST one verse consisting of a guy screaming unintelligibly about anarchy or bollocks or how he's not going to clean his room like his mother told him to.
