A study by the Martin Prosperity Institute assigned each metropolitan area in the United States a "Metro Music Index" according to the concentration of musicians and of businesses in the music industry. Ongoing studies are also incorporating online information from networks central to the music industry, such as MySpace.

You can't tell, since this is only a VISUAL hybrid, but the beaver is playing rock, the duck is rapping, and the platypus is fearlessly playing rap-rock. With a keytar. Because it already makes enough sense.

The statistics are a little skewed thanks to the often-forgotten 1973 single "Yeah, Baby, Yeah! Love! Yeahhhhghhhh!!" which featured David Lee Roth wailing the title for three and a half minutes over a sitar drone.
