The collective reaction on this particularly absurd claim about a family struggling to scrape by on $500k would seem to (rightfully) be one of sheer confusion and comical outrage. It just doesn't add up. And after a little poking around the site, it would appear to be 'legit.' Or as credible as a site can be after making such outlandish claims. At least other people on Twitter stepped up to express their highly entertaining bewilderment.

Home Secretary Amber Rudd brought on a glorious and unforgiving wave of hilarious trolling after she was quoted on Live TV in her interview saying, "the best people who understand the technology, who understand the necessary hashtags to stop this stuff ever being put up, not just taken down, but ever being put up in the first place are going to be them." Aheeeem. What now? This is the kind of fail-technology moment equivalent to that one time someone implied the internet operates off tubes and shit...

Over the weekend an amusing and entirely ridiculous controversy rained down sweet entertainment for us all, courtesy of United Airlines' dress policy. Specifically, United wouldn't let a couple girls board their flight because they were wearing leggings, which apparently didn't comply with their outlandish dress code policy. At the end of the day I think we can all agree, that 'Airline Twitter' remains the best Twitter!

The kids really stepped up to the plate for this one, and the mums all with their own, very unique, slightly ridiculous pet peeves are too endearing!

It’s the last Friday before the election, and things are getting crazy. Could they get crazier? Sure. We’d all love that.

Well, Julian Assange is here to stir the cauldron if you will with a little “Spirit Cooking.” What is “Spirit Cooking,” you ask? CNET has a really handy explainer:

“The top trend on Twitter on Friday morning comes from an alleged WikiLeaks email of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta discussing spirit cooking. WikiLeaks tweeted that it involves "blood, sperm and breastmilk." Spirit cooking refers to performance artist Marina Abramovic's "cookbook" of recipes to cook up thoughts -- not meals. However, some on Twitter are taking it to the extreme and accusing the former secretary of state of devil worship. "This is not the first or last time that WikiLeaks has tweeted propaganda while doing Putin's bidding," a Clinton campaign representative wrote in an email. CNET cannot independently verify the information in the alleged email, and it is be entirely possible that someone altered the email before it was publicly released.”

Ok. So, I guess, Hillary Clinton and her team are a bunch of witches now. If she is a witch, please, Hillary, make me a potion that will make me sleep for 1,000 years or, at least, the next week.
