Nobody is more proud of British gold medal swimmer Adam Peaty than his grandmother Mavis.

Adam Peaty won gold in the 100 meter breaststroke and set a new world record of 57.13 seconds this weekend. And while most grandmas were at home struggling with the remote, Grandma Mavis was gaining thousands of Followers on Twitter.

Well this is just disgusting.

Tom Daly (of Team GB Diving) lost his father earlier this year. After a less-than-stellar performance diving earlier today, some d-bag tried to bring him down about it. Now the d-bag in question is dealing with more exposure than he can handle.

We have more continuing Olympic coverage at Roflympics.

Irish light flyweight boxer Paddy Barnes goes face-to-face with British heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua.

Olympian swimmer Ryan Lochte isn't known for being particularly articulate, or even for forming complete sentences, and his Twitter account doesn't do much to dispel that perception. But some of his finest tweets, when formatted in Impact Bold, made us seriously wonder whether Lochte doesn't put much effort into the English language, or if he's actually an undercover Zen Buddhist.

To be fair to the person who made the decision that there needed to be 75 lifeguards keeping an eye on the world's best swimmers, concussions and other accidents do happen. That hasn't stopped the internet jokesters from commenting on a picture of a bored looking lifeguard.
